SHORT-TERM VISA (tourism, business and other visa less than 90 days stays)

 PROCEDURE OF APPLICATION

  1. Contact Call center of Consulate General to make an     appointment
  2. Complete documents required (see below)
  3. Processing time: minimum of 15 days after the appointment date Applicants with incomplete documents will be rejected

 REQUIREMENTS

  1. Duly accomplished Application Form: 1 original and 3 photocopies, Application Forms are available at the Ground Floor, A.C.T. Tower, Gil J.Puyat Ave. or upon request by e-mailing con.manila@maec.es
  2. 1 picture pasted on the box in the upper left corner of the application form
  3. valid passport (valid for a minimum of 6 months)
  4. 1 photocopy of the data page of the valid passport
  5. Previous passports (if applicable)
  6. Economic means of the applicant: Bank Certificate, Bank Books, ITR, International Credit Cards
  7. If invited by relative/friend, OFFICIAL INVITATION LETTER issued by Spanish Police and photocopy of the sponsor’s  passport and/or D.N.I residence card, etc.
  8. If employed: Certificate of Employmetn and authorization for leave of absence (original copies)
  9. If self-employed: Business Permit, Registration, Company ITR (original and 1 photocopy)
  10. For non-Filipino applicants, please present your ACR, ICR and re-entry permit (and 1 set of photocopies)
  11. Booking certificate form an airline office
  • detailed itinerary and confirmed hotel reservations
  • only itineraries with Spain as main destination (longest stay) will be processed

 12.Travel Health Insurance

  • Minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros
  • Must be recognized in all Schengen States
  • Validity period of the insurance coverage must be for the duration of the visa (example: A 1-year Schengen visa must have an insurance coverage of 1 year)

 13. Cash payment for the visa. EXACT AMOUNT ONLY. This payment    does not guarantee the issuance of the visa. (3,600.00 pesos)

BUSINESS VISA

  • Invitation letter in Spanish from the company in Spain
  • Letter from your company containing all the details pertinent to the trip: purpose of the trip, length of stay, the counterpart in Spain, who shoulders the expense

RELIGIOUS VISIT VISA

  • Invitation letter from your congregation in Spain with details pertinent to the trip
  • Note verbal from the Apostolic Nuncio’s office
  • A letter from your local congregation requesting for the visa

  • Medical Certificate from your local doctor regarding your health condition
  • Medical Certificate from your doctor in Spain

STUDENT VISIT VISA (3 months or less)

  2. Additional requirements: Enrollment Certificate at the University School or Center of studies in Spain

TRANSIT VISA FOR SEAFARERS – (Spain/Malta)
PROCEDURE

  1. Contact CALL CENTER for appointment
  2. Complete the documents required (see the list of requirements below)
  3. Put all the documents inside one big legal-sized brown envelope with applicant’s surname and name, name of agency and vessel, contact telephone numbers in bold letters on the upper left corner of the envelope
  4. The applicant or the representative of the shipping agency must come on the appointment date to file the application and must pay the visa fee of 3,600 Pesos in CASH (EXACT AMOUNT ONLY)

Note: The application must be filed at least FIFTEEN (15) DAYS before the departure

REQUIREMENTS

  •   Documents must be arranged in two sets as follows

Set No.1

  1. Original passport with validity of at least 6 months (and 1 photocopy of the data page)  (DO NOT STAPLE ANY DOCUMENT TO THE PASSPORT)

  • Departure date from Manila
  • Estimated date of arrival of vessel to Spanish/Maltese port
  • Estimated date of departure of vessel from the Spanish/Maltese port
  • Next port of call
  • Flag of vessel
  • Shipping company and its nationality
  1. Letter from the Principal or agent in Spain/Malta with same data required in number 4
  2. Original and photocopy of plane ticket
  3. Photocopy of the first two pages of Seaman’s book
  4. Photocopy of Philippine Overseas Employment Agency’s  (POEA) Contract and Certificate
  5. Photocopy of the Certificate of Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS)
  6. 2 COPIES of duly filled application form for courier service

 Set No. 2

  1. Original Valid Seaman’s Book
  2. One photocopy of the duly accomplished application form
  3. Original Philippine Overseas Employment Agency’s  (POEA) Contract and Certificate
  4. Original Certificate of Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS)

APPLICATIONS WITH INCOMPLETE DOCUMENTS WILL BE REJECTED

STUDENT VISA – (more than 90 days/3 months)

PROCEDURE

  2. The applicant must come personally on the appointment date to file the application and must pay the visa fee of 3,600 Pesos in CASH (EXACT AMOUNT ONLY)

REQUIREMENTS

Enrollment at a public or private university, school or center indicating the code number assigned to such university, school or center by the National Registry of Universities (Registro nacional de universidades) or the National Registry of colleges/centers (Registro estatal de centros no universitarios), and the details of the course (plan de studios) to be taken
  5. Proof of economic means  (bank certifications, international credit card, bank books, ITR)

For minors: Affidavit of support from parents or sponsors, proof of their economic means, ITR, bank certifications etc…

  1. International medical insurance coverage
  • minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros
  • must be recognized in all Schengen States
  • must cover the entire duration of stay

2.Three (3) photocopies of item no. 1 and one (1) photocopy of items 3 to 6
For non-Filipino applicants: 3 photocopies of item no. 1 and 2 photocopies of items 3 to 6

If the duration of stay is more than 6 months,  the applicant must submit these additional requirements:(include one photocopy of each document)

  1. Duly authenticated MEDICAL CERTIFICATE indicting non-existence of Infectious diseases requiring quarantine, according to International Sanitary Regulations.
  2. NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) clearance

 TPS-Prestacion Transnacional de Servicios*

(For temporary work/ training for an affiliated company in Spain)

  • Before this kind of visa can be processed. the worker has to have an authorization/permit issued by the Delegacion or Subdelegacion del Gobierno in Spain. This authorization/permit may be acquired in two ways: a) either the company in Spain applies for it in the corresponding Delegacion or Subdelegacion del Gobierno OR b) the company in the Philippine applies for it in the Spanish Consulate. In the case of the latter, the following documents are required
  1. Duly accomplished (typewritten) application form. (1 original and 2 photocopies) Applciation forms are available at the Ground Floor, ACT Tower, 125 Gil J.Puyat Avenue, Makati or upon request by e-mailing: con.manila@maec.es
  2. One (1) recent passport-sized picture of the applicant (to be pasted on the application form)
  3. Valid passport (with validity of at least 6 months)
  4. Certificate of employment indicating the following: position and job title, years of service in the company
  5. Contract of employment
  6. Duly authenticated transcript of records and diploma
  7. Duly authenticated SEC (Securiteis and Exhange Commission) registration of the company / employer in the Philippines
  8. Certification from the SSS (Social Security System) stating that the worker is subhect to the laws of the local social security system
  9. Notarized document stating that the company in Spain and the company in the Philippines are affiliated
  10. Duly authenticated medical certificate indicating the non existence of infectious diseases requiring quarantine, according to International Sanitay Regulations.
  11. NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) clearance
  12. Three (3) Xerox/photocopies of item no. 1. Two (2) xerox/photocopies of items no. 3 to 11. Make sure the copies are clear and legible
  13. 2 big legal-sized BROWN ENVELOPE with APPLICANTS SURNAME and NAME as well as the contact TELEPHONE NUMBERS in bold letters on the upper left corner of the envelope
  14. 2 COPIES of duly filled application form for courier service

PROCEDURE:

WORK VISA (TRABAJO) REQUIREMENTS

  1. “AUTHORIZACION DE TRABAJO Y RESIDENCIA” (Authorization to Work) issuied by the Spanish Labor Authorities. This authorization to work must be submitted within the 30-days validity period. From the date of receipt of the employer, even without the verification stamp of the Philippine Embassy in Madrid.
  2. Duly accomplished (typewritten) application form. (1 original and 2 photocopies) Applciation forms are available at the Ground Floor, ACT Tower, 125 Gil J.Puyat Avenue, Makati or upon request by e-mailing: con.manila@maec.es
  3. One (1) recent passport-sized picture of the applicant ( to be pasted on the application form)
  4. Valid passport  (with validity of at least 6 months.
  5. Valid NBI  (National Bureau of Investigation) clearance
  6. Valid medical certificate indicating the non-existence fo infectious disease requiring quarantine, according to International Sanitary Regulations. The medical examination should be done by the clinic referred by POEA. The medical certificate has to be authenticated by the Department of Health and the Department of Foreign Affairs.
  7. One (1) xerox/photocopy of items no. 1,4,5,& 6. Three (3) xerox/photocopies of item no. 2. Make sure the copies are clear and legible
  8. 2 big legal-sized BROWN ENVELOPE with APPLICANT’S  SURNAME and NAME as well  as the contact TELEPHONE NUMBERS in bold letters on the upper left corner of the envelope
  9. 2 COPIES  of duly filled application form for courier service

PROCEDURE

 Important Note

  • Since the authorization to work has a validity of only one month, the applicant is allowed to file his application even without the NBI clearance and medical certificate, on the condition that these two documents be submitted on or after the appointment date
  • The verification stamp of the Philippine Embassy in Madrid on the authorization to work is not a requirement of the Spanish Consulate. It is a requirement of the Philippine Overseas Employmetn Administration and has to be acquired prior to the worker’s departure form the Philippines
  • P3,600 in CASH (EXACT AMOUNT ONLY) upon submission of the application

 RESIDENCE VISA REQUIREMENTS

  1.  Duly accomplished (typewritten) application form. (1 original and 2 photocopies) Applciation forms are available at the Ground Floor, ACT Tower, 125 Gil J.Puyat Avenue, Makati or upon request by e-mailing: con.manila@maec.es
  2. One recent passport-size picture of the applicant (to be pasted on the application form)
  3. Valid passport (with validity of at least 6 monhts)
  4. Proof of economic means, bank certifications, financial statements, certificate of employment, etc
  5. Letter from the applicant explaining the motive for the application for the visa and indicating the place of residence in Spain (for descendants of Spanish citizens, include birth certificates of parents as well as of applicant)
  6. Travel Health Insurance
  • Minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros
  • Must be recognized in all Schengen States.
  • Validity period of the insurance coverage must be for the duration of the visa. (ex. A one year Schengen visa must have an insurance coverage of one year)

RESIDENCE VISA (PETITION)

For Spouse, childres or parents of (Spanish Citizens or EU Citizens)

PROCEDURE

  1. Complete the documents required. Put all the documents in 1 large brown envelope (with the applicant’s surname, name and contact number written in bold letters on the upper left corner of the envelope) and 2 duly filled up courier forms and 1 brown envelope
  2. The applicant must come personally on the appointment date to file the application

 REQUIREMENTS

  • (Always include 3 photocopies fo the filled up application form and 1 photocopy of the rest of the documents)

FROM APPLICANT

  2. Original Passport (with validity of at least 6 months)
  3. LITERAL CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH, issued by the Naitonal Statistics Office (NSO) on security paper and authenticated by Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)
  • If delayed/late registration, include Negative Certifcation from the Local Civil Registrar, Baptismal Certificate, School Recors (DECS form) and Hospital Records of pregnancy and birth/delivery.
  • Proof of economic dependence-only for children above 21 (remittance slips over a period of at least 1 year or a bank certification indicating a detailed breakdown of all remittances)
  • For Spouse: LIBRO DE FAMILIA and SPANISH MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE

If married with an EU citizen: Marriage certificate on security paper authenticated by DFA. Certificate of the corresponding Embassy that marriage is recognized and valid in the EU spouse’s country

  • For parents:Copy of the “Autorizacion de Residencia”issued by the Spanish Authorities
  • For Minor Children: PERMIT TO TRAVEL issued byt eh Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)

FROM PETITIONER

  1. Petitioner original Spanish literal birth certificate (CERTIFICADO LITERAL DE NACIMIENTO) issued by the Spanish Civil Registry.
  2. Certified true copy of petitioner’s D.N.I (Documento Nacional de Identida)
  3. Certified true copy of petitioner’s Spanish passport
  • For former Filipino Citizen. Literal birth certificate on security paper
  • For non-Spanish EU CITIZENS: Residence card issued by Spanish authorities

NOTE: OTHER DOCUMENTATION NOT INDICATED MAYBER REQUIRED

RESIDENCE VISA (PETITION)

For spouses, children (below 18 years) or parents being petitioned by Filipino relatives with residence permits in Spain.

PROCEDURE

  1. Complete the documents required. Put all the documents in 1 large brown envelope (with the applicant’s surname, name and contact number written in bold letters on the upper left corner of the envelope) and 2 duly filled up courier forms and another brown envelope.
  2. The applicant must come personally on the appointments date and must pay the visa fee of P3,600 in CASH (EXACT AMOUNT ONLY) upon submission of the application

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Duly accomplished (typewritten) application form. (1 original and 2 photocopies) Applciation forms are available at the Ground Floor, ACT Tower, 125 Gil J.Puyat Avenue, Makati or upon request by e-mailing: con.manila@maec.es
  2. Copy of the “Authorizacion de Residencia” issued by the Spanish authorities. Note: The applicant  has to apply for the visa withih the 2-month validity period of the “authorizacion de residencia”, from the date of receipt of the petitioner of the said document.
  3. Original passport (with validity of at least 6 months)
  4. One (1) passport-size photo ( to be pasted on the original application form)

LITERAL CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH and LITERAL MARRIAGE CONTRACT (if applicable) of the applicant and the petitioner, issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO) on security paper and authenticated by Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)

  • If delayed/late registration, include Negative Certification from the Local Civil Registrar, Baptismal Certificate, School Records (from DECS)and Hospital Records of pregnancy & birth/delivery
  1. MEDICAL CERTICATE (done at any DOH accredited hospital or clinic)indicating non-existence of infectious diseases, according to International Sanitary Regulations (validity is 3 months from date of issuance) and authenticate by DFA
  2. NBI clearance (for applicants above 18 years old) and authenticated by DFA.
  3. Photocopy of passport and “permiso de residencia” of petitioner
  4. For MINORS: PERMIT TO TRAVEL from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
  5. Literal Filipino birth certificate of petitioner issued by NSO on security paper
  6. Three (3) photocopies of item no. 1 and one (1) photocopy of items 2 to 9

REQUIREMENTS FOR LEGALIZATION OF:

Birth certificate, marriage certificate, death certificate

  • has to be literal birth/marriage/death certificate, not extract
  • has to be in security paper issued by the main office of the National Statistics Office (NSO)
  • has to be authenticated by Malacanang and DFA
  • authentication of DFA should not be more than one year
  • payment: 390 Pesos
  • in case of late registration of birth all of the following supporting documents should be submitted: negative certification from the local registration, school records, baptismal certificate

School record, NBI clearsnc, affidavits, powers of attorney, medical certificates and other documents to be used in Spain

  • has to be authenticated by Malacanang and DFA
  • authentication of DFA should not be more than one year
  • payment:  390 Pesos

Philippine Passport (certified true copy)

  • original passport to be authenticated

Power of attorney notarized by a notary public accredited by the Spanish Embassy

  • photocopies of the said document (maximum of 2 copies only)
